Join us for the 1st Annual Lawrence Township Aldo Leopold Conference - Celebrating open space, nature and conservation in Lawrence! This in-person conference will be held on Saturday March 16, 2024 from 8:30AM to 1:00PM at The Lawrenceville School, 2500 Main Street (Craven Lane entrance) Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648 in the Heely Room of Woods Memorial Hall. Come hear local Leopold scholars present on his early life in Lawrence and his "land ethic" philosophy and on the Lawrenceville School campus design by Frederick Law Olmsted. Hear from Lawrence open space volunteers talk about the history of the Lawrence Greenways and the Town's current portfolio of open space and trails. Join in a facilitated discussion to contribute to the future vision for open space and trails with connecting greenways in Lawrence Township.
